Dr. Aziz Ouerd has over 17 years of experience in electrochemistry, R&D, process engineering, and industrialization. He currently serves as Head of HealthCare Product R&D at Linxens, where he oversees the development roadmap for flexible electrochemical transducers and biosensors intended for medical and life science applications.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ouerd has focused on bridging laboratory research with industrial manufacturing. His technical background includes surface functionalization, electrochemical characterizations and impedance spectroscopy (EIS), alongside the management of cross-functional teams in regulated environments (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001). He has spent a decade leading R&D and process engineering projects from early-stage proof-of-concept through to volume production.
Dr. Ouerd holds a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry and Materials Sciences and an Engineering degree from Grenoble INP - Phelma (France). Committed to the methodologies of technology integration, he is currently completing a Master’s degree (M2) in the Management of Innovation and Innovative Design at CNAM, Paris. He also contributes to academic-industrial synergy as a member of the Scientific Council of the PrintUp Institute.
