Dr. Yu Qin possesses over 25 years of academic and industry experience covering fundamental analytical chemistry research, biosensor development, and medical device industrialization. Currently, she is the Founder and CEO of Eaglenos Sciences, Inc., and oversees full-cycle R&D, manufacturing, and global commercialization of the company’s biosensor-based diagnostic and monitoring portfolio. Dr. Qin is also the founder of Novlead Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and spearheads the R&D of electrochemically generated inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapeutic technology. She has led full-cycle development of more than 16 Class II and Class III medical devices. The product pipeline spans point-of-care testing instruments, including blood gas analyzers, electrolyte analyzers, handheld devices and strips for home testing of various metabolites, as well as the continuous monitoring system for glucose and lactate, with all projects progressing from formulation design, technology transfer, and process validation through clinical verification to mass commercial production.
Prior to founding her businesses, she served as Associate Professor at Nanjing University and worked as a Research Specialist at the University of Michigan. Her technical accomplishments comprise over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles and granted patents.
